FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to geophysics and intended for searching, prospecting and assessment of reserves of oil and gas deposits. According to method, undertaken is seismic prospecting by procedure of general depth point, seismic data are processed, time-bound sections are obtained with their additional investigations and separation of areas of reservoirs saturated with hydrocarbons. After that, searching and prospecting bore-holes are drilled within boundaries of separated zones. For obtaining more reliable results, seismic wave of each route of time-bound section is expanded into separate harmonics by Fourier method. Determined for each harmonic in given intervals is ratio F of its amplitude to energy of seismic wave in this interval. Also determined are phase displacements ϕ,. Values of F and ϕ are related to points within given intervals of each route. Matrices are formed in coordinates of section from values of F and ϕ,. Found in these matrices are stable spatial-amplitude nonuniformities. Matrices in which aforesaid nonuniformities coincide with reservoirs are summed, thus integral matrix is obtained and according to stable nonuniformities remaining in it determined are areas of reservoirs which are saturated with hydrocarbons. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
