FIELD: geophysics, possible use in oil and gas industrial geology for optimal positioning of operation wells on subject territory with utilization of drilling data, prospecting seismology data and geophysical research of wells.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method operation wells are founded at portions with abnormally high for subject area values of characteristic parameter αSP, determined by calculating cubic pseudo-acoustic impedances and cubic relative amplitudes of potentials of spontaneous polarization in wells. Between them statistical relation is determined, on basis of which seismic sections are split in accordance to collector properties. Thickness maps of productive bed are built as well as αSP intensiveness maps, the former and the latter are combined by application onto one another and selecting zones of more probable development of collectors, as which zones are marked, wherein values of αSP exceed upper limit of αSP range, characteristic for rock of current lithologic composition.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and effectiveness of extraction of hydrocarbon deposits due to more precise and rational placement of operation wells, decreased costs of prospecting and improved ecological situation.
