FIELD: mining industry, benificiation of metal-carrying sands of placer deposits. SUBSTANCE: gear for benificiation of metal-carrying sands has loader, inclined chute with bottom and sides, magnetic system, intake hopper with holes in bottom mounted under chute bottom where amalgamated copper plates are installed for change of inclination angle with reference to hopper bottom and containers placed under holes of hopper. Loader is manufactured in the form of pulp line made from nonmagnetic material having additional system of permanent magnets with alternating polarity situated along its perimeter. Chute is assembled from separate sections and has two-sided trapping coat. Magnetic system is positioned in each section of chute, is composed of permanent magnets and ribs longitudinal relative to sides and is positioned on bottom in the form of barrier transverse to chute. Chute is fabricated from magnetically neutral material and is mounted for turn about longitudinal axis. EFFECT: enhanced degree of recovery of valuable component thanks to directional formation of flakes from thin classes and gold-carrying amalgam readily settling and held on trapping surface. 5 dwg
