FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: device has feed hopper, two conveyors arranged at an angle relative to horizon in cross-vertical plane, one under the other, to form wedge shaped grading slot across article travel. Cross axis of lower conveyor is arranged at an angle of 17-20 deg. Upper conveyor is installed for adjusting angles of inclination in longitudinal and cross axes relative to horizontal plane. Axles of rotation of upper and lower conveyor drums are connected by flexible shaft. Upper conveyor consists of separate belts. Edge of the first belt close to feed hopper is located at a distance not less than mean width of large fraction tuber increased by 10 mm, from edge of lower conveyor along horizontal in cross-vertical plane, and each following belt is arranged at a distance from other edge of preceding belt equal to mean length of tuber of corresponding fraction increased by 10 mm. Edge of last belt does not project beyond the limits of the second edge of lower conveyor.
