FIELD: manufacture of electrically welded tubes in piece and small-scale production processes. SUBSTANCE: sheet is secured to mandrel by its lengthwise edge. At normalized rotation of mandrel sheet is wound onto it and it is simultaneously bent and reduced by rollers moving along mandrel until full revolution of the last. Then sheet edges are welded. Walls of tube blank may be reduced simultaneously by means of several rollers. Such procedures allow to use non-specialized low-power equipment for making high-quality tubes of hard-to-form alloys with enhanced elasticity properties.
