FIELD: plastic metal working, particularly, apparatuses for separating remainder-of-billet at making extruded hollow products in hydraulic tube shaping presses with movable container. SUBSTANCE: cutting off punch has cutting head provided with additional cone whose apex angle exceeds friction angle and stripper moving axially and having cone stopper. Stripper has annular or radial grooves on its surface. Cutting off head is joined with body by means of bolt joint and it restricts axial motion of stripper. Spring is arranged between body and stripper. Such structure allows to prevent hydraulic shock of hydraulic system due to absorption and conversion of potential energy of hydraulic drive to work of plastic deformation of remainder-of-billet and to work of spring elastic deformation.
