FIELD: rolled tube production, namely technological tools for cold rolling of tubes of refractory metals such as titanium alloys. SUBSTANCE: tool has reduction zone and cogging zone mutually joined by transition portion whose conicity is in range of half-difference to half-sum of cones of reduction and cogging zones of mandrel. Length ratio of reduction and cogging zones is equal to ratio of natural logarithms of total elongation values of rolled tube blank by diameter and by wall thickness. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of rolled tube geometry due to lowered wall thickness difference in lengthwise and crosswise directions approximately by two times. 1 dwg, 1 ex
