FIELD: chemistry of polymers, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method uses 2,4-dinitrobenzene and N,N-diethylaminoethanol which are condensed to obtain [(β--diethylaminoethoxy)-2,4-dinitrobenzene. Then synthesized compound is treated with methyl iodide and N-methyl-N,N-diethyl-N-[β--(2,4-dinitrophenoxy)ethyl] -ammonium iodide is obtained. The latter is reduced to the end product. New monomer exhibits high reactive capability and can be used for production of polyamide anionites with strict control of ionite fragments in macromolecular chain. EFFECT: high-strength and thermostable anion-exchange material. 1 tbl
