FIELD: waste utilization. SUBSTANCE: lubricating oil is first partly separated for subsequent regeneration of oil and remaining dense rubber-oil waste is loaded into gyroscopic mixer and liquid softener is added. When ratio of rubber compound to lubricating oil in waste ranges from 10:90 to 30: 70, waste/softener ratio is maintained between 30:70 and 50:50. Mixture is agitated at 70-80 C for 40-80 min to produce homogeneous mass with specified viscosity. Product is used as softener in production of rubber compounds.
