FIELD: equipment used in drilling and overhaul of oil, gas and other wells for elimination of formation fluid spouters. SUBSTANCE: ball cock has body accommodating seats, flexible gaskets and ball plug. Body walls have two coaxial smooth holes of the same size. Located in holes are control pins. Two control pins are threaded with ball plug. Locking pins preventing turning of control pins are installed on side of through channel of plug in its hollow. Locking may be made in other way, for instance, by welding of protruding threaded ends. Seats have enlarged passage due to lining of through channel internal surface with strong elastomer, for instance, polyurethane. Flexible gaskets are pressed to seats by thrusting nuts. Control pins have rubber seals. EFFECT: higher reliability in cock control under emergency situations, simple design, and reduced specific metal consumption. 5 dwg
