FIELD: mechanics; valves production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valves, in particular, to ball valves and may be used in gas mains and service lines. The ball valve contains a welded body with an inlet and outlet, a drain line, flanges for valve stem and a plug drive, a ball straight-way plug on turn able supports and two spring-loaded seats with O-rings and cages to interact with the ball plug surface. The ball plug of varying designs has a central bore of the DN-diameter with size D1 larger than the inner diameter D of the main over the length L1 and two drain holes with stope chamfer. The said holes are arranged nearby the bore end faces centered relative to the plug bottom. The drain line incorporates two parts, i.e. inner and outer ones. The former is made in the form of a curvilinear pipe with skewed input end faces and straight output end face. The latter is welded to the body adapter if the input end face is arranged at the centre of the bottom of half-body. The outer part if made of a pipe welded to the ball stop plug body and outlet pipe. The invention allows better entrapping of condensate and transfer of condensate from the main line into the valve body along with the blowing of collected condensate out from the valve body by the gas being transported into a tank truck.
