SMALL ARMS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: firearms held by one of two hands in process of shooting. SUBSTANCE: small arms include barrel, gas-venting tube, loader, cock, firing pin, magazine and butt-stock. Gs venting tube and barrel are manufactured in the form of one structural member, their spaces intercommunicate through hole for passage of powder gases. Damper of pressure of powder gases presents set of plates with central hole for passage of stream with piston of loader that is mounted for rotation about its horizontal axis. Butt-stock is fabricated in the form of magazine with two compartments separated by springy partition in the form of loop. Case of loader is joined to rear part of barrel, butt-stock/magazine, grip for shooting and gas-venting tube and has hole for removal of fired cartridges. Firing pin is made fast to locking spring of loader and cock is manufactured in the form of shaped plate enveloping case of loader. There is mechanism of initial loading in the form of grip enveloping outer surface of gas-venting tube mounted for movement over it. Structural implementation of this weapon makes it feasible to diminish dimensions and mass of weapon and to improve its operational properties.
