FIELD: astronomical and geodetic measurements. SUBSTANCE: device has astrolabe-standard prism, lens, horizontal mirror installed on turning platform, timer, as well as television pickup positioned in focal plane of astrolabe, main and auxiliary slope sensors, computing device which includes unit calculating reciprocal angular distances of two pictures of start, and threshold device. Use is also made of coordinate conversion unit, motor switching unit, inverter, and astronomical coordinate computing unit. Base of the entire device is positioned on three "legs", one of which is coupled rigidly to base, and two others are coupled to motors of their own through reduction gears.
