FIELD: transmission of information in open air, in particular, for transmission of voice, control signals, communication between computers, which are located in premises or outside. SUBSTANCE: device has transmitter, receiver, light source, photodetector, transmitter collimating mirror, receiver collimating mirror, which are designed coaxial and are mounted on single substrate. Focusing mirror of receiver is located in outer circuit and has longer focal length. Photodetector and light source are located in focal planes of mirrors of receiving and transmitting sections respectively. Orthogonal linear polarizers are located before light source and photodetector. This results in possibility to decrease mismatch between receiving and transmitting sections and to decrease influence of transmitting section to receiving one. EFFECT: increased reliability of optical signal transmission, increased protection of information against unauthorized access. 2 cl, 2 dwg
