FIELD: ground laser communication terminals used for organizing communications between ground stations. SUBSTANCE: device has two laser terminals spaced through certain distance apart, each incorporating multiple-aperture transmitting antenna coupled with N (where N ≥ 2) transmitters; each of N optical transmitting antenna modules of multiple-aperture transmitting antenna has width of its radiation pattern smaller than characteristic angle of fastening-point instability of respective optical transmitting antenna module; optical axes of mentioned radiation pattern of N optical transmitting antenna modules are not parallel and they are shifted through angle y which is smaller than radiation pattern width of one of mentioned modules. Receiver incorporated in each terminal is coupled with multiple-aperture receiving antenna; N receiving sub- apertures formed by multiple-aperture receiving antenna are spaced apart in plane perpendicular to their optical axes; distance between most distant boundaries of closest receiving sub-apertures in mentioned plane should be at least twice as width of Fresnel region on side of laser terminal in receive mode. Receiver is provided with means for controlling optical signal received. EFFECT: reduced scintillation of signal received, enlarged range of weather conditions for normal operation of communication line, enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 5 dwg
