FIELD: aerosol fire extinguishing, in particular, compositions for cooling of aerosol and methods of their production. SUBSTANCE: composition contains, wt.%: binding agent in the form of carboxymethyl cellulose and/or polyvinylacetate or polyvinyl alcohol taken in weight ratio with carboxymethyl cellulose of 2:1-1:2; filler in the form of base magnesium carbonate or ammonium oxalate, or base magnesium phosphate, 25.0-45.0; process additions in the form of kaolin, 0.5-7.5; industrial or instrument oil, 0.5-5.0. sodium or zinc stearate, 0.1-0.2; water, the balance. The method for production of claimed composition includes mixing of binding agent and kaolin with water in ratio 1:4-1:10, holding of mixture for 5-180 min with maintenance of mixture dynamic viscosity of 200-2000 mPa.s with addition of water or binding agent. Subsequent mixing of mixture with filler and remaining components, extrusion of mixture with humidity of 48-55 wt.% and drying of members formed after cutting to equilibrium humidity of 3-5 wt.%.
