FIELD: aerosol fire fighting. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises, wt.-%: as nitrocellulose based colloxylin, 5.0-12.5; diphenylamine, 0.1-0.5; polyvinyl acetate, 0.2-1.5; carbon, 0.1-0.5; iron oxide, 0.3-1.5; difficult volatile nitrocellulose plasticizer: triacetin and/or dibutyl phthalate in 1: 1 ratio, 8.0-12.5; filler: basic magnesium carbonate or ammonium oxalate or basic magnesium phosphate; and 0.5-5.0 industrial or instrumental oil, 25.0-45.0; sodium or zinc stearate, 0.1-3.0; graphite, 0.1-1.5; 0.1-1.5 paraffin as technological additives, 0.1-1.5; and water, the balance. In order to prepare composition, nitrocellulose, iron oxide, carbon and filler are mixed for 1-20 minutes. Water, industrial or instrumental oil are added. The mixture is stirred for 1-20 minutes. Diphenylamide solution in plasticizer is added and the mixture stirred, polyvinyl acetate emulsion and other additives are added. The mixture is stirred for 1-20 minutes and homogenized at moisture content of 45- 55 wt % at temperature of 20-120 C to moisture content of 25-30 wt%. The whole is granulated to form 3-8 mm dia. granules and dried to moisture content of 15-20 wt %. Granules are extruded. Extrudate is cut and dried to equilibrium moisture content of 3-5 wt %.
