FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves seeding pea seeds mixed with cereal crop seeds in alternating strips at ratio of 9-10 pea rows and 2 cereal component rows. Method provides strictly defined lodging of pea plants transverse to seeding direction. Plant mass is harvested in direction transverse to pea plant lodging direction. Header guides are directed in accordance with orientation of cereal components. EFFECT: increased pea seed yield per unit of area and improved adaptivity of young crops for mechanized harvesting. 1 tbl
