FIELD: gas-shield welding process by means of consumable electrode. SUBSTANCE: at short-circuit interval welding current is not increased and maintained according to its minimum value. When reliable contact is achieved between welding bath and droplet of melt metal on electrode end and process of dripping to welding bath is irreversible, normalized pulse of electric current is passed through arc gap. Electrodynamic force accelerates metal dripping to welding bath; electric current pulse is terminated before end stage of short circuiting. EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joint. 1 dwg
