FIELD: AC-welding by means of consumable electrode at forced small-interval short circuiting of electric arc gap, possibly all technological welding processes in machine engineering, gas-oil, ship making, power production branches of world industry. SUBSTANCE: method of AC-welding comprises steps of dozing power for melting drop of electrode metal at direct polarity; after termination of power dozing for melting drop of electrode metal, sharply reducing electric current value to minimum one and simultaneously setting its inverse polarity; after creating reliable contact between welding bath and melt metal drop on end of electrode, passing normalized electric current pulse through arc gap in order to accelerate transition of metal drop to welding bath by action of electrodynamic force. Electric current pulse is ended significantly before termination of short-circuiting period. EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joint independently upon spatial positions of welded parts. 2 dwg
