FIELD: degassing and gassing of thermoplastic polymer melts. SUBSTANCE: method includes delivery of melt to worm conveyer zone, its distribution in thin layers and performance of degassing at rarefaction. After delivery of melt to worm conveyer zone melt pressure is raised in operating direction of extruder, thus packing the melt. Agent-carrier is injected into melt in direction of melt movement. Mixture of melt and agent-carrier is subjected to intensive stirring-up and homogenization. Then it is foamed and subjected to mechanical and pneumatically destructing action. Melt is distributed in thin layers over large area, and degassing is performed at rarefaction in the entire processing thin-layer range, simultaneously. Method and installation exclude formation of deposits on degassing chamber walls and on shaft surface. EFFECT: higher degassing results. 8 cl, 7 dwg
