FIELD: construction, in particular, designs of bases for installation to under foundations of antiseismic buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: seismoinsulating base of buildings and structures includes flexible base located under foundation of building or structure and its shape is in the form of inverted truncated rectangular pyramid whose faces consist of alternately placed horizontal and inclined layers of materials with different acoustic properties and central flexible core made of reinforced ground. In this case, weight of seismoinsulating base equals that of building or structure. Experimental investigations performed on models of the offered design of seismoinsulating base have proved its high seismoinsulating properties. EFFECT: higher seismic stability of buildings, structures, especially on unfavorable in seismic respect grounds; higher efficiency in damping seismic vibrations due to reflection and absorption of energy by structure of seismoinsulating base of buildings, structures. 1 dwg
