Additional system data contain lines of encoded text with multiple character codes. Text display unit has given number of positions for characters. This number is less than number of character codes in lines of encoded text. EFFECT: possibility to display large amounts of text information on small size displays and special-purpose monitors without significant alternation in format of additional system data for control of said displays. 28 cl, 12 dwg
