FIELD: transmission of sound and video information using encoded sound or video disk. SUBSTANCE: channel of sub-code in reading-writing unit stores text information of encoded signal which is located near to sound or video signal. This information is split into packets. Packets that store information of different categories are interlaced. When information is read from disk, packets of given category are separated from information that has been read. Such system for transmission of additional information provides possibility to use its own category of packet for different languages so that user may select language he knows better. In addition menu information which stores lines of encoded menu text and command codes are stored in channel of sub-code of reading-writing unit in order to control reading of sound and/or video information of other connected devices in interactive mode.
