FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ammonia nitrogen-containing high-concentration waste waters. Waste water is treated in air tank with bacterial sludge based on nitrification and denitrification bacteria at medium pH at least 7.0 in sludge-recycle mode. Waste water is passed through air tank with velocity assuring specific intake of ammonia nitrogen 0.03-0.4 kg daily per 1 cu.m of effective volume of air tank, while continuously aerating water throughout entire volume of air tank.
