FIELD: computer engineering, in particular, control of industrial articles and processes by means of processing equipment. SUBSTANCE: device implements simultaneously several functions such as keyboard, manipulator which controls movement of set of cursors, system for control of virtual reality objects, graphic pad which is sensitive to pressing. This method involves measuring, amplification and converting of electric scan patterns of muscular activity of operator. Said electric scan patterns are converted to input digital format of computer in interactive mode. Said electric scan patterns are used as data which control cursors or other screen objects or as data which encode symbolic information. Said device has assembly for mounting sensors on operator's body, unit of surface current pickups which are applied on operator's skin, multichannel amplifier and unit which converts electric scan patterns to digital input format of computer. EFFECT: increased precision and speed of cursor control, increased speed of symbolic data input, increased reliability, increased functional capabilities. 8 cl, 4 dwg
