FIELD: FIRE PROTECTION. SUBSTANCE: composition designed for extinguishing fires in closed and partially closed spaces contains, wt %: potassium nitrate and/or perchlorate (oxidant), 63.5-66.5; hydrogenless combustible (carbon black), 9.0-11.0; binding (cementing) agent, 24.0-26.0; and burning catalyst, 0.5- 2.0. Combustible/oxidant proportion should be such as to assure oxygen- supply coefficient to be 0.95-1.0. Cementing agent may be glass, gypsum, chalk, or their mixture.
