FIELD: volume aerosol fire extinguishing, particularly, solid-fuel aerosol-forming compositions. SUBSTANCE: composition has finely divided cooler selected from series including aluminum hydroxide, and/or activated aluminum oxide, and/or activated aluminosilicate, and/or their mixture, and/or their mixture with clay, or some inorganic binders. Composition has the following ratio of components, wt.%: fuel-binder, 1.5-18.0; additional fuel, 3.0-25.0; cooler, 1.5-60.0; additives, 0.5-10.0; oxidizer, the balance. Additional fuel is selected from series including guanidine, carbamide, dicyanodiamide, melon, melem, melamine, urotropin, azobisformamide, semicarbazide, dihydroglioxym, tetrazole, ditetrazole, their derivatives, or their salts. Oxidizer is used in the form of nitrates or perchlorates of metals or ammonia, or their mixtures. Fuel-binder is used in the form of polymers, resins, rubbers, and/or their mixtures. Additives are used in the form of metals such as aluminum, and/or magnesium taken as separate components, or as their mixtures, or their alloys. Introduced into cooler composition is from 0.05 to 5.00 wt.% of catalyst of oxidation-reduction processes. EFFECT: reduced and excluded flame burning, ecologically clean consumption and products of its combustion, excluded toxic gas mixtures, possible regulation of gas mixture temperature. 10 cl, 3 dwg
