FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mixer has body 1, material loading 17, 18 and unloading 14, 15 devices and rotor 4 secured on shaft 10. Rotor 4 has form of truncated hollow body of rotation, paraboloid formed by rotation of curve with equation j = ax², where a=0.05- 0.20. Flat base 5 of rotor corresponding to paraboloid truncation plane is secured to shaft. Elliptic paraboloid may be installed on flat base coaxially inside rotor. Paraboloid height equals 0.4-0.6 the rotor height. EFFECT: improved operation and production indices of mixer, simplified process of mixer manufacture. 2 cl, 3 dwg
