FIELD: construction of pipelines; mounting and hydrostatic test of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: device includes load-carrying cross-piece, grips for mounted and laid before pipes, L-shaped bar which carries test unit provided with rollers for moving over pipe, and unit for pipe joining. Grip of laid before pipe is inside-pipe one and located on L-shaped bar. Test unit consists of body having diaphragms which form pressure chambers together with body, sealing rings which form test chamber located between pressure chambers. EFFECT: extended functional potentialities, efficient joining of inserted-joint and non-inserted-joint pipes and reduced consumption of water for testing. 3 dwg
