Abstract RU 2122139 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; carburetor engines. SUBSTANCE: ignition switch is connected with storage battery and generator connected to ignition coil primary winding. All ignition coils are connected with spark plugs by high tension wires. Ignition coil primary windings are connected with switches of ignition breaker provided with capacitors and rotating cam. Ignition breaker switches are spring loaded and installed on breaker plate for engagement with cam. Cam is fitted on shaft set into motion by engine crankshaft and is provided with lobe designed for opening breaker switches. Breaker switches whose number corresponds to number of engine cylinders are uniformly placed on breaker plate to cam turning angle in compliance with number of engine cylinders. EFFECT: simplified design of ignition system owing to dispensing with ignition distributor, enhanced electrical characteristics of system. 3 cl, 1 dwg
