Sparking between the electrode of spark plug and piston bottom occurs during a period of double advance angle. The ignition system has DC power source 1, controlled voltage stabilizer 2, pulse generator 4, electronic switch 5, capacitor 6, ignition coil, distributing box 9, and single-electrode spark plug 10.
