FIELD: charging storage batteries from variable-speed generators, primarily automobile ones. SUBSTANCE: regulator has temperature sensor 1, resistors 6, 7, comparator 8, transistor 9, stabilizer built around transistor 12 and voltage regulator diode 13, voltage divider built around resistors 14, 15, 16, and diodes 17, 18; in addition, it is provided with series-connected diode 20 and resistor 19 whose second lead is connected to carburetor limit switch and diode anode is connected to lead 5 of temperature sensor 1. Voltage across motor-vehicle storage battery varies when throttle closes in the course of its running. EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption and improved dynamic characteristics of storage battery. 1 dwg
