FIELD: radio communications. SUBSTANCE: method involves detection of structural noise in receiver of extraneous input signal by means of assessment of structural noise using detection of information signal in extraneous input, which is encoded if necessary, and modulation by this signal of reference wide-band signal of same receiver. Device for suppression of structural noise has two receivers: main receiver 5 and extraneous input receiver 7. First terminal of extraneous input receiver 7 controls commutator 4, which provides connection of main receiver 5 to device input either directly or through serial circuit of delay gate 6 and rejection unit 3. Second terminal of this unit is connected to terminal of extraneous input receiver 7; another one - to output of encoder 1. Input of encoder 1 is connected to terminal of extraneous input receiver 7.
