FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of channel time share involves compression of continuous signal flows of user messages into periodical signal packets according time chart of channel time share, forming group packet flow of message signals, in which packets of information signals are interlaced with protection time intervals and intervals for synchronization signal transmission, and packets of information signals, and modulation of transmission line carrier frequency upon sending. Upon receiving method involves demodulation of radio signal, detection of synchronization signal, which provides number of target time-shared channel in group flow of packets of user signals, and regeneration of source continuous message from packets of information signals of target time-shared channel. Time chart of communication system operations is equipped with additional time intervals for measurement of user signal levels and signal distribution duration for which base station measures levels of received signals of user sets, compares measured signal levels and forming groups of users with close values of signal levels. In each group of users with close signal levels equal target channel number is assigned. Then signals of group of users of each time channel is additionally split into code channels. In addition during additional code channel sharing, packets of information signals from each user are encoded by a signal from set of semi- orthogonal M sequences or orthogonal Walsh-type signals. In order to achieve their effective share in common bandwidth of signal receiving by base station, user sets emit signals advanced by double time for distribution of radio signal from base station with respect to received synchronization signals from base station. When base station receives signals of user sets, it processes them according to type of their encoding signals, detects group packets of time-shared channel signals and regenerates source continuous information signal from packets of signals of target time-shared channel. EFFECT: low-rate transmission of group signal for many users.
