FIELD: sanitary and hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has replaceable bristle carrier, handle with curved neck, head with longitudinal slot made in one head surface and adapted for receiving replaceable bristle carriers, and optical radiation source (sources) disposed in head. Replaceable bristle carrier and head are made from optically transparent material. Optical radiation sources are oriented toward bristle carrier and connected by wire extending through head, neck, electrical button and handle with power supply members positioned in handle cavity. EFFECT: increased strength of toothbrush, provision for disinfecting oral cavity, promotion of antiinflammatory and recovery process in soft tissues of gums during tooth cleaning. 2 cl, 2 dwg
