FIELD: sanitary, prophylactic and hygienic articles. SUBSTANCE: toothbrush has handle, neck, head with bristles or additional bristle carrier, which may be positioned in head. Handle, neck and head are manufactured from current-conductive corrosion-resistant material. Handle and neck are coated with 5-7 micron thick silver layer. Toothbrush handle is provided with insert made from metal or alloy such as brass, which is more electronegative as compared to silver, for creating galvanizing silver-brass pair. Toothbrush handle is coated with layer of metal or alloy, such as zinc or copper, which are more electronegative as compared to silver. Bristle carrier is enclosed in disposable hermetically sealed package. In the process of tooth cleaning, physiological and skin-galvanizing currents occur to enhance bactericidal properties in mouth cavity and promote deeper electrophoresis penetration of nutritive and medicinal substances of toothpaste into gum tissue, to improve blood microcirculation in lip and gum tissue, to facilitate healing of microcracks and to tone up local tissue neurotic system.
