FIELD: applicable in blasting, especially in restricted and power-saturated conditions. SUBSTANCE: detonating wire has a two-layer plastic shell, and a layer of active compound applied onto the shell inner surface. Strengthening components are placed between the shell layers, they are fastened only to the external plastic layer. Strengthening components may be made in the form of longitudinal threads adjoining one another, a great number of monofibres, or in the form of a braid. The shell external layer is made of polyethylene of low density, and the internal layer - of copolymer of ethylene with vinyl acetate. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 cl, 1 dwg
