YOKE WITH SCREW Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; connection of members. SUBSTANCE: yoke is made of band wound with overlapping of ends. One of ends has corrugated projections and cavities forming toothed rack. Yoke has spring and case secured on other end of band. Screw is fitted in case for turning around its axis and axial displacement relative to case. Spring is formed by bent strip whose concave portion is pointed inside the yoke and is installed so that its side end faces are in contact with side walls of case. One end of strip is secured on case against axial displacement relative to case and is provided with hole. Hole is used as bearing for screw shank. Second end of strip is mounted in side walls of case for axially sliding and embracing partially the rod of screw at its head to provide thrusting against strip. EFFECT: possibility of taking up clearances when tightening the screw. 6 cl, 3 dwg
