FIELD: clamping equipment. SUBSTANCE: pair of clamping jaws has devices for fastening each jaw 20 and 40 on related ends of pliers 1. Fastening devices are faced one toward another with their working surfaces and arranged so that respective end portions of tape 11 of yoke 10 abut against these working surfaces. First jaw 20 is provided with transverse slot extending through middle part of its working surface and defined by bottom and central depression, two flat side surfaces positioned in parallel with depression bottom and two opposite walls. Second jaw is provided with open transverse slot extending through middle part of its working surface and defined by flat bottom and two opposite walls. Working surface of first jaw 20 is provided with central depression and two convex side portions, which are disposed at side slot wall adjacent to clamping end of pliers, when jaw 20 is fixed on this end. Two convex side portions have size equal to respective sizes of central depression and side portions of slot bottom. When jaws 20 and 40 are fixed on clamping ends of pliers, convex surfaces of side portions of working surfaces of first jaw are faced to working surfaces of second jaw 40. Slot of first jaw 20 is further defined by two side walls, each disposed beyond respective side portion of slot bottom.
