FIELD: mechanical engineering; drives of machines and power mechanisms with high gear ratio. SUBSTANCE: crown gears arranged in two parallel planes are corrected to pitch circle and differ in one tooth. Two rim planet pinions are brought into engagement with crown gears. Sun gear is put into meshing only with rims of planet pinions located in plane of one of crown gears. Rims of planet pinions have equal number of similar-type teeth displaced in pitch circle relative to each other through value multiple of tooth pitch-to-planet pinion number ratio. EFFECT: simplified design of planetary reduction gear, provision of high gear ratio at high loading capacity and efficiency. 2 dwg
