FIELD: ultrasonic inspection of rotating bodies such as rotors, turbines, shafts. SUBSTANCE: method lies in excitation and reception of ultrasonic oscillations, in analysis of signals propagating in article. Ultrasonic oscillations are excited by contact method with the use of converters emitting ultrasonic waves and anchored directly on article. Signal is sent to them by electric or radio methods. Change of parameters of signals propagating in article is then analyzed and flaws in article are judged by change of parameters of propagating signals. As converters are anchored on article then change of parameters of signals propagating in it is caused by changes in article only but not by change of excitation conditions and changes of distance between converters. EFFECT: increased authenticity of inspection. 1 dwg
