FIELD: mechanical engineering; security systems for stationary and movable objects. SUBSTANCE: if burglar gets into room protected by proposed security system the latter detects the burglar and sets into operation light and (or) sound alarms warning the burglar of the fact room is under protection and, at a lapse of time sufficient for burglar to leave the room, if he is still inside, low toxicity gas is sent into room to act onto eyes, breathing system and open parts of skin of criminal. Security system has power source, switch, pickup, actuator with control unit, light and sound alarms. Actuator is made in form of gas-and-smoke generator which has Housing with cover and hole to let gas out. Gas-and-smoke pot accommodating initiating substance with electric igniter is installed in housing. EFFECT: increased efficiency of system owing to direct action onto criminal. 2 cl, 2 dwg
