FIELD: electroplating and chemical treatment of parts. SUBSTANCE: transfer line has a number of baths with sealed covers provided with edge suction devices, automatic operators with moving platforms mounted for sealing covers of baths, sealed casing placed above baths and provided with operators and ports for charging and discharging parts being treated, holding zone at end of baths. Casing has air forcing pipes; bath covers are free to open in horizontal plane; outlet pipe of edge suction devices is provided with gage pressure valve. Operating mechanisms of bath covers and moving platform of automatic operator are built up of worm gear, screw, and three pairs of levers symmetrical relative to screw. Several line operators are functioning simultaneously to open and close bath covers by automatic operator moving platform for short periods during which pollutants are emitted into the atmosphere. EFFECT: improved environmental friendliness of line due to reduced emission of pollutants. 1 cl, 6 dwg
