METHOD OF FORMING SLEETPROOF COMPLEX FOR DEVELOPMENT OF OIL-GAS DEPOSITS ON ARCTIC SHELF AND SLEETPROOF COMPLEX FORMED BY THE METHOD Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2123088 C1

FIELD: hydraulic engineering; applicable in development of oil and gas deposits on arctic shelf. SUBSTANCE: initially in zone of deposit lowered onto bottom by means of floating crane is bottom plate having the required number of holes with pattern corresponding to pattern of holes of sleetproof platform, and is buried into ground to the value required to pass above plate surface of sleetproof platform. During ice-free period, installed above plate is self-erecting floating drilling rig and leading wells are drilled through bottom plate to the required depth. Then wells are completed, drilling rig is moved from the drilling site to which sleetproof platform is brought. Sleetproof platform is made in the form of fully equipped sleetproof offshore platform which is installed above bottom plate with hole patterns of platform and bottom plate aligned. Then platform is landed onto ground and well heads are formed on platform, and wells are put into service and deposit is operated both in ice-free and ice periods. Complex sleetproof platform carries operation and power equipment and habitable block-module. The complex sleetproof platform is made in the form of offshore platform which has in bottom part, in the region of well pattern hollow for coincidence with bottom plate and for receiving the landing platform.
