FIELD: devices for protection of drill pipes and casings from wear in well drilling. SUBSTANCE: protector includes flexible body and metal frame. Body is made of polyester thermal elastoplast Hightrel-4056. This technical solution features the following merits: elasto-strength properties are 5 as high as those of rubbers based on nitrile rubbers; thermal elastoplast does not undergo wear by friction at specific loads below 20 N/sq.mm; detachable design allows prompt mounting of protector under conditions of drilling rig state. Steel-thermal elastoplast friction coefficient is close to zero that allows increasing the protector service life. EFFECT: reliable separation of drill pipes and casing string. 2 dwg
