FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to operation of oil wells. Coated coupling device comprises one or more cylindrical bodies, one or more couplings, located near outer diameter or inner diameter of one or more cylindrical bodies, and a coating on at least part of inner surface of coupling, outer surface of coupling or a combination of surfaces of one or more couplings. Coating is selected from a composite based on fullerene, diamond-like carbon (DLC) and their combinations. Coefficient of friction of coating is less than or equal to 0.15, and coating provides Vickers hardness of more than 1,000. Also disclosed is a method of using said coupling device.
EFFECT: technical result is increased wear resistance of coupling connection, as well as reduced corrosion, erosion and other deposits under well conditions.
