FIELD: production of oil and gas; applicable in slant well directional drilling with the help of turbodrills or screw hydraulic downhole motors. SUBSTANCE: axial deviation is preset by the force of unbalanced radial magnetic attraction between magnetic heteropoles of electric generator installed on drill bit shaft. Value and direction of magnetic attraction force are varied by regulation of current in short-circulated winding of electric generator and well profile is changed by action of controlled radial force. The device for embodiment of the method has control panel of drilling rig and well unit for performance of axial deviation. Downhole motor during operation rotates via articulated joint the shaft with drill bit and electric generator. Field structure of electric generator with permanent magnets is rigidly secured to shaft between drill bit and articulated joint. Armature with winding is short-circuited with thyristor unit which consists of antiparallel thyristors short-circuiting heteropolar poles of armature winding of electric generator. Besides, to perform axial deviation, well unit includes series-connected shaper of control pulses and self-contained information transmission system. To ensure spatial displacement of maximum unbalanced force, each pole of armature of electric generator has two mutually perpendicular windings. EFFECT: simplicity of the method. 2 cl, 3 dwg
