SUBSTANCE: method includes determination of composition, thickness and strength of immediate roof, length of zones of active gas emission and relief of guiding beds. Then, after construction of front and rear parts of gas-draining chamber installed in intermediate part of this chamber is at least one additional stopping with ventilation door and draining window made in isolating wall with additional mixing chamber adjacent to stopping and including members identical to members of mixing chamber of front or rear parts of gas-draining chamber. Simultaneously with drawing off a part of gas-air mixture over drainage gallery to ascending flow of extraction district, the other large part of this flow is drawn off over reclamation airway which serves as additional drainage gallery which is supported in worked out space on the boundary with adjacent worked out extraction pillar by erection in it of additional support beginning from mounting chamber. Additional drainage gallery is supported up to boundary with a distance from it to line of end of stoping jobs after completion of mining of extraction pillar with length L shall not exceed length l of zone of preliminary compaction of caved rocks in worked out space.
