VENTILATION GATE FOR RAILROAD TUNNEL Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: ventilation of tunnels of electrified railroad; applicable in periods of repairs and mounting jobs with use of equipment with diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: ventilation gate is characterized by the fact that panel moved into tunnel is installed on flat car and provided with lifting and fixing devices and with mechanism balancing the gate. Panel is made of three sections: central and two side folding ones connected movably with possible fixing of those connected with central section. The latter has holes for connection with ventilation line and two flaps for overlapping of apertures in zone of contact wire. EFFECT: higher efficiency of tunnel ventilation without impairing the safety of vessels traffic. 2 cl, 5 dwg
